The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-round contest which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to publicize next month's bout.
Ex twice world title holder Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I'm going to break his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to really want to hurt him. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
Despite such comments, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually known for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British rival Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's largest money-making draws, consistently making substantial financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would derail the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters participated in the customary confrontation, with their height and weight contrast evident, it drove home just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly going ahead.
